Keepers

Keeper is a comprehensive cryptocurrency portfolio management tool that allows users to track their crypto assets across multiple chains. Users can add wallets, connect exchanges via APIs, or import CSV transaction files, all of which our system processes to generate a detailed portfolio. Keeper supports PNL and tax reporting for U.S. and Canadian users, allowing seamless export of reports for legal or tax services like Taxbit. Aleh Tech developed both the frontend and backend of the system while collaborating with top providers like Zerion, Vezgo, and Crypto API to ensure a smooth experience.

Problem Statment

The complex nature of integrating multiple wallets, exchanges, and transaction formats into one coherent portfolio presented a significant challenge. Additionally, ensuring accurate profit and loss (PNL) calculations, multi-chain support, and tax reporting capabilities, all while working within the constraints of the U.S. and Canadian legal frameworks, required an innovative solution.

Solution

Aleh Tech developed a robust backend using Nest.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB, working closely with providers like CoinGecko, Binance API, Zerion, and Vezgo to gather accurate data for users’ portfolios. Through iterative analysis and trial-and-error processes, we refined the system for efficient storage, processing, and tax calculations. On the frontend, built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, we created a seamless, responsive interface that integrates wallet connections via Vezgo and secure transaction handling using wagmi and ethers.

Additionally, we are developing smart contracts for Keeper’s token, enabling users to swap dust cryptocurrencies for valuable tokens. A referral system and an activity rewards program also provide users with additional incentives via Keeper tokens.
